The Tassimo Brewbot and the Keurig Coffee Makers eliminate all of that unnecessary and bothersome work. Here is how they do that.
A technology called K Cups and T Discs makes one cup coffee makers able to produce one perfect cup of coffee, or tea, or many other beverages.
These are small plastic discs or cups, depending on the type, that are inserted into the Keurig or Tassimo and the machine uses them to make a perfectly sized single serving.
The K Cup is shaped like a cup and is somewhat larger than the T-Disc. It is used with the Keurig Coffee Makers. It is a larger design than the Tassimo T-Disc.
The K cup design is inserted into the Keuring and when it is done, there is no clean up and no hot coffee grinds necessary to dispose of.
The K-Cup is placed in the Keurig. Beneath the K-Cup you will place a mug or cup, which will receive the coffee or tea. The machine then makes two small holes, one in the bottom and one in to top.
Water is then sent through the K-Cup and the beverage will flow into the cup of your choosing.
The T-Cup has a slimmer profile. It is smaller and when it is inserted into a Tassimo coffee maker a small barcode is read. The barcode on the Tassimo T-Disc will specify to the machine what is in the T-Cup.
In some instances with the T-Disc technology you will have to insert multiple discs. This is the case where you are making a Cappuccino. This is done for the reason that milk and the coffee product cannot be integrated into each other at the same time.
While the K-Cup has proprietary advantage with regards some brands of coffee, both have a full array of both flavors and varieties. It is going to be up to you to decide which is the best choice. You have to look at what is the particular beverage you drink. If you favor cappuccino than you will be best suited to using a Tassimo. However, if you like a wide variety of coffee and tea, then the K-Cup is the choice for you.
